My wife and I spent a lot of our late-night college days enjoying the original Blind Pig Brewery, so returning recently brought back some great memories. We always loved the drinks and the vibe back then, but this time around, the food completely blew us away. First off, the hospitality from the team at the restaurant was just great. Everyone made us feel right at home from the start. I also have to give a lot of credit to Chef Eric—the care put into the menu really shows. For dinner, I had the pork shank prepared in a natural braising jus with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and green beans. It was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. We also tried a few other things, including a perfectly crispy batch of truffle fries and a huge, delicious schnitzel paired with spaetzle and a fried egg. Of course, we had to kick off the evening out on the patio with some appetizers and a few of their great dark beers. If you're looking for great food and drinks in town, I highly recommend stopping by. Big thanks to Chef Eric and the whole team for a fantastic night!

We were passing through town and needed a place to stop for dinner, and Blind Pig Brewpub caught our eye. It's honestly a really cute spot with a great atmosphere. There happened to be a band playing on the square, so we grabbed a table outside and enjoyed the music while we waited. The vibe was fantastic and made for a memorable stop on our trip. Unfortunately, the food and service didn't quite match the atmosphere. We were there for over an hour, and drink refills were never offered. The food also took quite a while to arrive. When it did, my salad was extremely bitter and I wasn't able to eat it. They did offer me something else in exchange so I am grateful for that. The tacos were good, it took another 30 minutes to get those in exchange for the salad. Everyone has off days, and this may have simply been one of those times. While we enjoyed the setting and live music, we'll probably choose somewhere else if we find ourselves passing through again.

Came in for dinner this evening and had this delicious house made teriyaki salmon cooked in their stone oven. Perfectly placed over some jazmin rice with some tri-colored peppers and squash. Garnished with pickled ginger and nori. Definitely recommend this dish. It was superb!! 10/10 would recommend

That pig may be blind but I’m seeing god. Jokes aside, this was the most pleasant dining experience I’ve had in at least a decade. This is my third time visiting Champaign, sampling the recommended joints by my local friends, but this place was something else. Sublime atmosphere, great food, wonderful service, and best of all, very reasonable prices. The chef was incredibly nice as well, struck up a conversation with us, and sent us a slice of banana cake with caramel and walnuts on the house as a thank you. An absolute delight for any foodies in the area. I would hate to overhype anything, but I really admire the drive of this chef and their incomparably positive staff.

Nice outdoor patio for the summer - great atmosphere downtown. Food was good. If you tried it when it first opened and you thought it was so so. They have worked on the food items and menu and they were pretty good today. I would give them a try again. Lots of drink choices also. They also have darts if you would like to play.
